My review was SARCASTIC (TAKE NOTE OF THE HAPPY FACE!!!!) not SNOTTY -- but yours sure was. Take it somewhere else.

By the way, in your comment you implied that this is my upload - but it's not, so don't expect me to be the one to fix it. Whoever uploaded it will have to do that.

Internet Archive is billed as a library project, yet it has few of the tools available at libraries to help visitors find what they want. One of the tools that increasing numbers of libraries are offering is summary descriptions to help visitors assess whether an item may meet their needs before they spend the time to view the item itself. The reason why professional librarians spend the time and effort to catalog and describe materials is simple: since no one has the time to search through the material itself, a collection without an effective means to find things is no use to anyone. However, most of the work on IA of cataloging and making materials accessible is unfortunately left to the voluntary efforts of uploaders.

Fortunately, though, IA has a comment ("reviews") system, and reviews are indexed by the IA search engine. Not only do reviews allow visitors to add descriptions that help other visitors find what they want, they also allow visitors to notify uploaders when something appears to be broken. Most uploaders ignore such comments, an occasional one will fix the problem (and even post to say "Thanks!"), and I've seen a few post snarky, snotty rebukes such as Sandra's.

In other words...By default, the system accepts comments. If someone posts to report a problem, then snarky people like YOU will just have to suffer. ;) (Funny how she has the time and energy to post a nasty comment, but not to fix a problem.)

Subject: Sound?
I thought that it was odd that a movie made in 1916 would have audio as this listing states, but unless you count music, it is definitely silent.
